Sarah no-Moribito

This is my character that I've been drawing in my comics in and out for about
7 years now. Her name is Sarah. Like me. She isn't very intelligent, but when
it comes to swordsmanship, she excells at it. I never had a history of her
past though, so these next few pictures of her growing up will explain it.

This is her as a newborn child. Her mother, Nakata, didn't want her sold as
a slave because of her being a girl child, so Nakata disguised her as a boy.
The father, Moribito, never saw her naked so he never knew his son was actually a she,
since dressing and bathing a child was women's work. Moribito was a wealthy prince
who had the bloodline to become Emperor if chosen, so he had the power to kill
any girl child or sell them into slavery if his concubines had girl children.
He didn't want the other princes of Japan to think he ever had girl children from
his loins, because it was a status of power and good luck if a person only had
man children. Also, it would make his chances of becoming Emperor more so. So
Nakata hid the child Sarah's true gender from him for 5 years.
